BE SAFE

An OHV/ATV Helmet can save a rider's life. No matter how experienced you are, it is important to
make sure that you have a helmet on every time you head out on a trail.

Other riding safety apparel includes jackets, boots, gloves, long pants, and long sleeves are beneficial

Remember that accidents can happen to even the most capable riders

Don’t mix riding with alcohol or drugs

Always tell someone of your travel plans

Buddy up with other riders, reducing vulnerability if you have an accident or breakdown

The weather can change in a very short time. Be prepared

Take plenty of water

BE CONSIDERATE

Keep the noise and dust down and the speed low in town and campground

Do not disturb historical, archeological, or paleontological sites

Avoid “spooking” livestock and wildlife you encounter and keep your distance

Pack out what you pack in

The impression you leave lasts a lifetime    Stay on designated roads and trails

Leave gates as you find them
